Home of the Annual Ride For Life

Thanks for checking out our website! The Third Annual Ride for Life took place on Sunday, October 24, 1999 and was a huge success. Thanks to the efforts of over 150 motorcyclists, we raised over $26,000 for Shanti services and people living with HIV/AIDS. This is more than double last year’s efforts.

For those of you who have been with us since the beginning, you have seen Shanti Rides grow over the last three years, while remaining a simple and personal event. For those of you who have just joined us for the first time, we are proud to have you as part of our family.

We have started to discuss our next ride during gay and lesbian pride month. SAVE THE DATE - Pride Ride 2000 – Sunday, June 11. We will make more information available over the next few months. We hope that you are looking forward to riding again with us and to help raise money and awareness for people living with HIV/AIDS. You can still register and we will put you on our mailing list.

We will also begin planning for our 4^th Annual October Ride for Life very soon. Feel free to contact me at any time at 415-674-4720 or rperri. In the meantime, we will keep you up to date as plans begin to unfold.
